Lost Keys

I lost the key in my 1974 65hp Merc. It has the Mercontrol. Anyone know where I can get a key for it? Will any mercontrol key work? If so, does anyone have one that they will sell me?

Nathan-- don't know if it will work, but e-mail me your address at Rbarrow@dfwairport.com and I'll send you one of my spares. Can't hurt might help. this key worked in both my 67 65hp and my buddies 87 40 hp contol.

Go to a boat dealership that sells Merc s. They should have one. Or at least a replacement switch. It might be time for one anyway.

they ain't lost Nate, the wife hid them on ya! <br />my '70 1150 has the cheapest lil key I ever saw!
