Just bought this 2005 Campion Allante LS645 this summer and have had it out about 10 times. Last week took it out for a week and the last day at our spot on the lake the boat wouldn't start. The batteries were both fully charged. here is the sequence of events
- plugged in USB adaptor to the cigarette lighter plug. the adaptor came apart as I plugged it in, so metal pieces were in the plug. I shut the power off, fished them out.
-few hours later went to start and there was no power to the bridge/helm at all.
-checked the breaker panel and none were popped out
-checked all fuses that I could find and they were all good
-called a mechanic and he came over and checked power and ground between the battery and helm which were good and measured batteries at 12.7 volts
-The trim and fishfinder work/have power (separate circuits obviously)
-we tried to trace wiring and find a hidden main fuse but couldnt.
I was hoping someone would know where or if there is some secret main fuse. or maybe had this problem and knows where to start!
