Lost the zinc anode off engine

Might have happened couple weeks ago cause I thought that part of the engine looked different but not sure but I know for sure today that the anode that sits on our 2002 Mercury 40HP ELPTO is gone. Completely gone , theres s a indention like were it would sit in.
Not sure what I need or were to get it from so any advice really appreciated.

Do you operate in saltwater. If so then buy another. You find them on ebay cheap or anywhere else too. This site included. If you dont run in saltwater don't worry about it.

YEA for saltwater. yea I know I need another but is there anything special I need to know when ordering one ? I watched a video and it showed them going from the top down with a long extension and mine doesn't seem to be put on that way.
