Low Battery Voltage Setting on Fishfinder??

Great feature on the FishFinder, low battery voltage. What should I set this to? A Setting that will still allow me to start the boat. I put the fishfinder on starting battery and left trolling motor on its own battery.

I have mine currently set at 11V, but a few times when starting it will trip the warning. Battery still has plenty to turn my 40hp over. I am going to try 10.5V next, to reduce nusence trips. If it trips while there isn't any high current operation (like starting), that might mean there won't be enough umph left.

Depending on motor and battery reserve, I think it will take you some trial and error, especailly to avoid start-up trips. ie not one setting for everyone.
