have low compression in 1 cyliner(60) and others are around 95. wondering what could of done this and why would it happen.
the reason i checked it was because it would run fine ok some times and other times it would idle down and run rough. but then i would squeze the fuel pump ball a little it would idle back up for a minute. is this the copression doing this or is it a fuel delivery problem?
again the motor is fuel injected 98 johnson 175 faststrike
please let me know what u think
any thing would be helpfull
thanks.

You sure its fuel injected, not oil injected?

sounds like a dirty carb, but could be clogged fuel injector if thats what it has.

You could just have a blown head gasket, only to find out is pull the head and look.

If you have one cylinder with bad compression then that's the first thing to correct. Until that's done forget anything else.
