Low compression/rusty mounts

I'm looking to buy a 2003 Regal 2650 with a volvo 8.1. The manifolds and risers were replaced due to a crack and leak, but the seller says it was external only. The compression report shows all cylinders 180-200, except #5 which shows 140 cold and 190 hot. Also, both engine mounts are corroded, as are other components on bottom of engine.

My questions:

1. Is it OK for #5 to be low cold compression? Or is this a sign that water possibly got inside cylinder? The oil was nice and clean, so likely changed beforehand and no indicator.

2. Is it normal for engine mounts to be corroded this much? On the water today the bilge remained nice and dry. I'm wondering if this corrosion was from the manifolds since it is a saltwater boat now.

Thanks!

My thought is a valve problem or cylinder wall and/or ring, it could work it's way out with come cleaning with a bit of water, or just give it some time. With the manifold having a crack water may have gotten in.

Looks like your in a salt water area, and things not protected it doesn't take long. I can see a similar issue going on with the fitting to its left

Yup, salt water. I'm thinking the hassle of replacing all the corroded parts is enough to walk away from this boat. Thanks.
