Low Fuel pump pressure and Low Compression

I am having problems with 96 Evinrude 150. I was running and it stalled out. Would not idle. Opened up gas cap and fired up. Htought it might be vapor lock, but checked all lines and no blockages. Thought it might be VRO. Switched w/ VRO on other motor and same problem. Noticed water coming from oil hose inlet. Pumped Oil bulb and water came out for first 5-8 pumps then Oil came through. <br />Is low fuel induction a sign of blown motor? Is the pressure too low to pump fuel? I checked compression and one of the cylinders was 30 and the others were around 100. Pressure improved in low cylinder once it warmed up. Is this a candidate for a complete rebuild or just one cylinder?

According to OMC you can rebuild one cylinder only. Pistons come oversized up to .040 I think and weigh accordingly. It is a good idea to put a micrometer on all the cylinders while you have it opened up.

I have never rebuilt a motor. How many hours am I looking at? and what are what usually needs to be replaced or machined?
