low oil light

I have a 2001 90hp Johnson with oil injection system. When I place the engine into reverse, the low oil light comes on along with the alarm. After about a minute or so it goes off and stays off until I place the engine in reverse again.<br />I have been monitoring the oil level and it is injecting oil into the engine. Also to be on the safe side I am using a 50-1 mixture in the gas. Thank you.

I would fill it up and see if it goes away in reverse. The sensor probably gets exposed when you hit reverse and the oil shifts, it may need to be adjusted.
