Low oil pressure 4.3

Need help... 4.3 Volvo penta oil pressure is around 20 at idle and lowers when accelerating. No ticking or anything in motor that I can hear. Removed sending unit and attached tester and received same results...any thought out there of what could be issue?

What happens if you slowly accelerate? Is the pressure steadier?

You don't mention checking the oil level, condition for water or changing the oil and filter. Kinda basic, but sometimes overlooked.

Assuming the oil level is good ?
What do you mean you had the same result with a tester ? Did you try a different gauge or do you mean you checked for correct corresponding and proportional readings with the multi meter ?
An easy attempt might be to make sure the gauge is getting correct readings....perhaps run a jumper earth and +ve to the gauge from a known source ?
Do the old gauge check making the needle run full whack and 0.
