Low rpm and no speed

I have an 87 Evinrude 115 hp on an 87 Bayliner Cobra 1700 runabout and all the sudden when we're out I could only get 3100 rpm at about 10 mph, I checked the coil packs and they are firing but I am puzzled at what it could be. Help, ideas please.

Ok so my compression is not good, 3 cylinders around 85-90 and the #3 cylinder is short of 30 psi. So welcome to the boating season, broke down. Thank ya boobie! Guess its engine building time.

Broken piston rings syndrome.-----In my opinion every one off these motors will suffer this fate.----Time for boring and fitting 4 new pistons.----Costs a lot of money to have a shop do this if you can find a shop to take this on in peak season.

Yeah, I'm going to do the work my self, does anyone have the best place to get robbed to get the engine kit?
