low spark from 50 hp force

can anyone tell me should i be able to turn over the motor and hold the spark plug and only get a small shock what should the voltage be and can i test it with a meter. thanks

what spark plug should I be using its a 1995 50 hp

no you should feel it pretty good sounds like you have week coils or faulty voltage regulator
