low speed idle adjustment???

How do I adjust the low speed idle on a 84 70 hp Johnson.. The book is sum what confusing??? :facepalm:

If its the model without the needle in the top centre i dont think you can change the carb settibngs as they have fixed idle orifices. You can retard or advance timing to change the idle rpm
