I knocked the top seal out and immediately noticed I was sent the wrong seals. What I was sent is 5/8 instead of 3/4 but the pics I've seen show the new ones pressed in the bottom. I whapped it with a drift pin twice and it didn't budge. Does this come out? The top side looks like it's solid but the bottom looks like it's pressed in,. I wanted to ask before going at it again

typically there just pressed in , most cases a 1/4 drive socket of the appropiate size works perfectly to drive out and in the new seals

I'd use a C clamp and press it out ball joint style instead of hammering...You don't know how brittle the aluminum might be

I'll give it a try but it looks like it's in there. Found a bigger problem though and I'll have to start a new thread. This is on back burner until the new seals come in

Yup, if stuck, press it out with a C clamp, big socket on one side to catch the seal and a small socket on the other side to press it out. I just tapped mine out with a socket and hammer though....

Install the bottom seal first, so you can use the empty top seal hole for better access driving the bottom seal in place.
