I have searched the forums and I believe this question has been answered, but I really need to confirm.
Will any v6 lower unit fit my motor? I found one from a late 80's v6, but don't want to end up with something that won't fit

You dont want anything from 1980 back as these where pin shifts like a inline. Also is it the same ratio as if its a 1.87 ratio you may have to drop a pitch size on prop to get correct rpm. If seller wants more than $800 you can buy a new one for that price.
