Lower Unit Capacity

Hey,
Today first thing I did was drain the lower unit.
The lower unit oil looked fine,not milky.
I did pour the old lower unit oil into a old
clean empty oil bottle.
The old oil that came out of my lower unit, made the 6 OZ.mark on the bottle.

Note: How much does a small 14 /15 HP Evinrude lower unit hold full by the book?
I put in new lower unit oil today and I had like 3-4 oz left in a 10 oz tube.

If it came out the top hole it is full,that is all it will take.
You can under fill but not over fill so as long as it came out the top hole you are good.
