Have a boat with a 1987 Johnson J110TLCUR 110 hp Outboard Motor on it and a 1985 Johnson J90TLCOS 90 hp Outboard Motor sitting on an engine stand, could you exchange the lower units? I’m not sure what the difference would be besides gear ratio’s and I don’t know what those are for each motor. The 90 is better overall lower, not scratched up and skeg still on it, unlike the 110. I won’t be keeping the 90 so wondering if it would fit on the 110 as I am keeping that.
