Ok here is my problem I have a 1981 35hp Johnson Seahorse and while I was returning from my fishing hole this past Saturday the lower unit went to pieces on me. Well I took it a part to day to find out what happened, and from what I can tell one of the ball bearings under the clutch dog came out and got the forward gear, hmmm can't figure out how this could have happened. I have never been in the lower unit, It has never give me any trouble( this happened while I was running a top speed by the way) Know I have looked High and low on the internet to fine a replacement kit, but all I can find is for 1984 and up like this http://www.seatemp.com/index.html?lang=en-us&target=d110.html my question is will this work as a replacement and if so where the heck would I find another ball bearing for the clutch dog? Any help will be highly appreciated thank you...
