Lower unit leak fixed! Yay

I found app. Half cup water in my lower unit the other day. from the advice of folks from this forum I changed out drain and vent plugs and gaskets. Went out fishn all day yesterday and was just sure that there was no way all that water could of leaked in through those two gaskets. checked this morning and not a drop of water...Yes!! Thanks to those who offered their advice.

Yesssss. Are you the guy that didn't have any gaskets under the lower unit screws?

I had gaskets..I didn't know a guy was supposed to change them out every year. They were four years old
At any rate I think/hope the problem is resolved.

Always a good feeling to nail the problem.I think your good now though keep an eye on that prop seal and maybe check oil again after a few more trips to make sure.
Just a tip....I counted 3 threads from you on same problem.If you keep it all under same thread and just update, its easier for us to keep track of your progress.Thanks for letting us know its fixed.Good Luck.
