own a 1969 johnny 115 ob w/elec shift i now i need type "c",i was wondering if there is a alternative??any help would be great thanks!!!!

wouldn't use anything else but type "c". different viscosity and shear than st'd stuff.

You can also use OMC "Premium Blend", if you can find it.

I had a 40 H.P. electromatice that required the type C and couldn't find it anywhere other than right here at IBOATS.

That'll take OMC/Bombardier "Premium Blend". Alternately, at least a couple companies make aftermarket Type C - I think "Lubriplate" (or something like that) is one. If iboats doesn't have it, try boatfix.com.
