Lower Unit oil Capcity

Does anyone have a mnaual that would tell the lower unit oil capicity for a 1993 Johnson 250 V8 model J250TZET?

I drained it and re filled it and it took about 2 1/4 quarts. It cameoutof the vent hole so I assumed it was full. Just wanted to make sure

If you filled from the drain hole and it exited out the vent it is full. I hope you put in new gaskets on the drain and vent screw.

Thanks High Trim, thats what I figured too but was curious if anyone had the actual capicity rating. No, I did not replace the gaskets on the fill plug and vent screw, thanks for the advice probably not a bad idea. I wonder if west marine would sell those
