lower unit oil

I have an 85 hp 85 year force. The lower unit drain plug is about shot and I have a new one on order. My question is, I have new oil in there for winter, if I leave the drain and fill plugs in, will the oil seep when I install the new drain plug? Boaters-ROCK...I have learned so much here.

Sure it'll seep a little, just swap em quick. You'll only lose a few drops. Just have one of your wife's fine china plates under it to catch any.
