Regal 1800 with Volvo 4.3 SX. When I first got the boat (new this season) I recall the lower unit raising all the way up (skeg at or above bottom of transom, and gauge indicated full up) after a few weeks only raised about 3/4 (skeg below transom and guage says 3/4 up). Dealer says that Regal/Volvo use limited range "shocks" and say 3/4 is full for that boat. It's my first boat and I may be mistaken about full up (although I don't think so). Dealer said they could replace (at cost to me) if I wanted. I am asking for input if this sounds right. <br />
