I finished replacing my water pump.when I put the lu back on,and started it up everything ran beautiful.I did notice water coming out of the side of where the the lu and the middle come together.there are ports for water to come out but this just seemed like the seem wasn't tight but it is.my question is is this going to damage the motor?or effected it in anyway?

It is normal for water to flow from there. Water is within the midsection when the pump is performing normally - it cools and muffles the exhaust.

The inner exhaust seals should be tight, however.

I just placed new exhaust seals in the lu and everything lined up perfect.the motor sounds better then ever.so now it's just a waiting game for some warmer day to come to take it out on the water.once again thanks.
