I think this may be more of a Volvo question than a prop Q.
I think you'll get better results in the I/O section.

Yes, you can convert it. A Volvo dealer can get you a list of the needed parts if no one has it over on the I/O forum.

Ayuh,... Volvos can be switched from duo-prop to single prop, or vice versa,...
But,...
The Complete Lower Unit is what's changed, Not just the propshafts....
