Hey guys,

I know this may be a little too generic but I was curious... (search function mainly shows me people with yoke issues)

Ive been looking at boats and been on the fence on a really clean 1995 Sprint FS277 with a 125hp Mariner motor for 10500.

My past experience with Merc was a 92 75hp and its bottom yoke was SHOT. I know you need to pull the Power head off and change the whole steering column when you do it. time intensive and not cheap. It kind of left a sour opinion on them in that matter.

Anyways.. Does Merc / Mariner still use the same style of yoke even in the newer 2000's? or even more recent motors?
