lowrance elite 5 dsi

I have a 200 khz transducer already mounted on my boat. What would happen if I hooked that up to the dsi fishfinder instead of the transducer thats comes with it. Would it not work, or act as a regular sonar unit??????

The Elite 5 DSI is strictly a down imaging unit. You need to use the xducer that comes with it.
