Lowrance elite 5m gold...North Carolina Rivers?

Need advice on a sd card..Again hope a link is ok.

Am a real novice so guess 1st is this a good one?
I got it for $384.00 with all as said on the link.
This one does have a transducer, be honest
am not sure what thats for. All realy want is
a good gps with good pictures of where ur at.
Maybe shows ur little boat going along the water.

Cards have seen online have lots of stuff. Seen
a couple with NC, Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, Gaston-Kerr.
Is there a card for rivers, sounds? Best can tell theres not.
If this one already has NC lakes that I dont know.
Not found much help on customer service side.

The card should say what area it covers, or just pull it up and see if it includes that places you go boating.

The transduer mounts on the hull or on the transom (different styles) and allows the unit to tell you what the depth is and if there are any fish down there.
