I have a lowrance 337c df GPS fish finder. I haven't used it in three years cause I was deployed. I took my boat out today and plugged it in and all I got was beeping and could barely see the screen. I could not do or see anything. I looked and my memory card was stolen. Does anyone know why it won't come on properly and also how to get another card? If I put a new unit in will it plug into my existing connectors or do I need to mount new transducers and everything? I live in charleston sc. If I need to replace whole thing, any good ideas I could get on ebay? Thanks

Re: Lowrance fish finder problem

1.Try a soft reset
2.If the problem resurfaces, try a hard reset
3.Update the the operating system software

Soft Reset (Does not delete GPSData)
1. Turn unit OFF 2. Press and holdthe PAGES key
3. Press and hold the PWR key
4. Release both buttons when the USA map
Appears

Hard Reset (Deletes stored GPS Data
such as Waypoints and trails)
1. Back up any waypoints, routes, and trails that you want to save on a blank MMC card
2. Turn unit OFF
3. Press and hold the ZIN&ZOUTKeys at
the same time
4. Pressand hold the PWR key
5. Release both buttons when the USAmap
appears

No idea if helps. Saw a post on the web had same problem.
Card should not have anthing to do with whats wrong.
I know am not much help but have older units to. Go to
lowrance and make a free account. Register your unit
with serial number. I have lowrance finders and gps models
date back 4 years and can find good faq's, and upgrades.
Be surprised how much ya can find with a free account.
Take a little searching for older ones but ya can find.
Hope helps!! Updatelink was from the post I found.
Might not be clickable. Have found all updates for mine
on their site though. Try this 1st before spend more
money. I did and saved me a few hundred on systems
I thought could not get help with, to old ya know?
