Heads up, the Sonic Hub is NEMA 2000 and if you don't already have it installed, the hub does not come with enough hardware to get it up and running. You need to purchase the Networks starter kit from LEI also.
The other thing to know is that it only reads MPEG3 (MP3) files. It will display data from MPEG4 (AAC) but will not play the music. I mention this because iTunes defaults to MP4 now and if you're ripping a bunch of CD's for your iPhone or thumb drive and you try to listen to them through the SonicHub you will get every indication that they are playing but you won't get any sound.
There is also a little know feature on the docking station. It's a composite video port. If you have a movie on your iPhone all you need is a monitor and you can watch and listen to it in your boat.
