My LCX 26 looses the bottom often and many times can't re-find it for 30 to 45 seconds. I replaced the transducer in 2007 supplied by Lowrance and it seemed to help but now is getting worse once again. I have three other boats with cheaper depth finders all of which never seem to loose the bottom when in normal use. They can also find the bottom quickly coming off high speed running. I've check the transducer installation (done by the Marine Dealer) and it is correct. Does anyone else have similar problems with the 26HD or other Lowrance finders?
