lowrance lmf 400 problems

ive just installed a lmf 400 w/ep60r fuel flow sensor, and it doesnt work, the unit powers up but doesnt seem to see the sensor, it just flashes like all the other functions that i dont have hooked to it. ive followed the reset procedure and done procedure for getting the unit to see a new sensor, nothing- any ideas? i dont really want to send this off to lowrance if i dont need to

funny stuff. i am here in front of the tv watching the olympic closing ceremony with my lowrance lmf 400 manual . i just installed a few weeks ago. my problem is that i cant get the amount of fuel left in the tank to go down.

my system did the same and my buddy showed me that i did not follow directions and that i had one of the plugs in the wrong place. look at it again. there is a good chance that you might have one one those plugs in the wrong place. hope that helps.
