Lowrance x85 vs. x91 FISHFINDERs

Hello everybody.- Any body know the LOWRANCE´s X85<br />and X91?, which one is it better? I´m a saltwater<br />fisherman who need 1000' depth, temp and speed ca-<br />pabilities. I own a 19' wood/fiberglass boat po-wered by a YAMAHA Outboard motor.<br />Best Regards.-

Their basically the same unit the X91 is the new replacement for the X85. The real question is will ether of these suit your application NO. Nether of these will reach 1000 ft in salt water. You would be lucky to get that deep in fresh with a 200 kHz transducer. I recommend looking at a unit with a duel 50/200 transducer like the X15 or the humming bird legend X000 deep it has a 200/50 kHz transducer (BTW I don’t recommend humming bird.).

XENOS.- Thanks for your help, ;) I´ll continuos looking. UMM!!! what about the GARMIN 240 BLUE, 500 watt, 240x240 pixel count, 50/200 khz dual<br />frecuency transducer...l reed 1000' depth :confused:

I would say it's a sweet unit, Email them and ask what the dept penetration is at 50 kHz. I would expect it to be over 2000,but then again what do I know.
