Need opinion here, installing a seal kit in my lower unit due to the top seals on the drive shaft leaking. Since I have it apart, I am installing a complete seal kit. The hardware looks good with the exception of the seals and perhaps the bearings. The bearings have some wear marks, but by no means are falling apart. I want to replace them, since I have it apart. The question - I have always been told when dealing with wheel bearings, if you replace the bearing, you must replace the race. The races look good, and it's some work getting them out and installing the new ones. What do you think, should I go ahead and install new races if I replace the bearings?
