Do they have a photo of the kit? If so, examine it closely. You would need a seal for the driveshaft (under the water pump), the prop shaft, A large O-ring to seal the torpedo to the upper part, a shift rod seal, and three small O rings to seal the top of the studs holding the gearcase torpedo to the upper casting. You will also need a slightly larger O ring to seal the bottom of the front stud.
To change the shift rod seal, you remove the shift rod and screw in a suitably sized lag bolt or similar. Then you use this to pull out the old seal. Tap in the new seal metal shell up and seat it so there is a slight drag on the shift rod--enough to seal, but not enough to hinder movement.
