From what you have posted, You have a simular setup to mine! The ? is ,how high do you have your motor mounted(Which holes)? Mine is in the second one from the top, seems low!!
Hi Joe, Thats a tough question. Where the holes are is somewhat imaterial, as they are drilled at the place that sets the boat up. Also, the hull is stepped, so I cant look at it and tell how far the cavitation plate is from the bottom. Sorry. What boat do you have?
the mounting holes in the motor mounting brackets are what I'm asking about not on the boat it self!! Mine has 5 different holes and my motor is mounted in the 2nd holes from the top!! I have a 1986 17' stratos 150 merc!! I know I need to change props( Way out of RPM range at WOT, 6000 +++++ Rpms) Just wondering if I went up some with the motor what would that do for handing!!
