Oregon Pre-loaded Grease Gun is the name on the package. Thiws works well on the OMC grease fittings that are not normal. I bought it at Canadain Tire but I would guess someone in the U.S. carries them as well. Best of luck. Rick.

Those little tits that look like grease zerts are in fact grease fittings without the one way check ball inside. You should be able to use a standard grease gun. The issue many times is the hole in the fitting will plug up with old hard grease. Take a small probe like the smallest screw driver from a jewelers screw driver set and poke it in the hole. Now try to use the grease gun again. This worked on my 1959 18hp.

Very good point. If I run into a plugged one I just use a drill bit in my hand to get the grease out and then spray lots of WD40 in until things start to flow and then follow with grease. Rick.

Yeah a normal grease gun will work, somewhat, if you push against the motor with it while fillling. Makes a little mess, but it will get in if the inside of the fitting is clear as mentioned.

That's great info. I will check and see if fitting is clogged.
