Lubing outdrive grease points. Mercruiser Alpha one.

Got the boat almost ready to go for the summers use, I want to hit all the grease points on the outdrive and change out the lower unit lube/oil.

#1. What type of grease to use on these grease points?
#2. Can I fill the lower-units fluid from the top if I allow it the time to drain into the lower half?

I live an hour away from any quality marine supply store so I can't get the pump required to get the fluid up the lower unit.

Thoughts and suggestions welcomed.

No way.
