M25 2008 tohatsu rpm gauge

Anyone have info on tach wire on m25 motor
pics or diagram would be great
Tried to search on here but don't know how

If wanting to install a tach would recommend installing an induction tach such as : Hardline Hour/Tach model : HR-8061-2.



You can install it next to the tiller grip. Can add a tiller extender and drive comfy while sitting on rear seat..

any info on the install atall?

Very easy to install, need to wrap at least 4 turns on any spark plug cable and fasten it well against the cable, with motor OFF and while at RPM display adjust the tach to read : 2P-1R, that's 2 sparks per revolution for tach to read correct rpm at any throttle setting. Follow installation procedure that comes with said tach....

My tiller grip has a modified Helms Mate 18" trolling motor extension handle cut to match my particular tiller grip/rear seat distance needs.
