1960 qd-21 10 hp. have factory manual. along with doing tune up of magneto and carb, pulled lower unit and put seal kit and impeller in. ran in tank. two things.<br />1. just sitting overnight lu lube is seeping out from around the bearing carrier. though i used sealer around the spaghetti seal, i did not on the o-ring area. gotta rip it apart again. can i reuse the spaghetti seal and o-ring or will need new ones?? can i reuse the ones i just put in?<br /><br />2. water pump is pumping but i think i missed fitting the water tube into the grommet on the pump-no water thru thermostat housing when started but inside of exhaust housing was soaked. i can blow thru the tube so it is clear. is there a trick to getting this sucker lined up so that the tube, driveshaft, and shift rod all get where they are supposed to?
