Well tomorrow is the big day for the first launch of our new to us boat. Cant wait, I think we have all the things we need, boat was gone through at a dealer and good to go, just need a new bimini top. Should be fun.

good luck and have fun! If you are new to boating, just take it slow, do one thing at a time, don't be afraid to ask for help and advice.

Don't fret about the inevitable bumps and near-misses. there are a whole lot of dynamics in play.

Just don't forget the plug!

The drain plug is what everyone I've talked to said too.lol After hearing that as many times as I have watch, I'll forget it,lol I might put it in tonight while Im putting the other battery in. Supposed to be nice this weekend then back to the crappy 50's/low 60's. This happen to us when we bought our motorcycle....it rained almost every damn weekend til September.

Best thing to do is a check list for the boat ramp,its where most mistakes take place.Ive seen some very special things at the ramp(if only I had my camera).

Have fun! I took my first trip a couple of weeks ago with a patient and experience boater who offered to teach me. It was a blast. I can't wait to take the family out and show them how fun it is.
