Main jet location?

Dumb question probably but I took the carbs off my 85hp force (1983) to clean them and according to my shop manual there should be a jet on the shaft in the bowl. There is no jet on that shaft in my carbs. Any ideas what I am missing? Thank you

There should be but the location depends what typ of carb you have.
Walboro or Tillotso.

Pics of the carb would help.

That year the jet is the screw that hold the bowl on.
Tiny holes in the side.

Don't loose that as they are as rare as lips on chickens!!!

Great Thanks JerryJerry! I wondered that after I looked through the parts list a little more last night. I will keep a tight hold on them!
