Which way does the "tapered" "open" side of the main jet nozzle face? Toward the motor, or toward the instake(away from the motor)? I was dumb and started playing with this and spinning it, and dont remember which way it faces
Thanks, but are you sure? I was looking at some ebay listings and it is shown facing toward the engine. Unless what you mean is toward the engine(leaf plate/reeds)
Just looked at one of those carburetors 35 -1/2 second ago.------Opening faces towards the reed valves.------High side of the nozzle sees the air intake side of the venturi.
Yep, it will have to put it the proper way again. Put boat in the water last night and coughed out when applying throttle. Motor is new to me so still trying to get it running. I am building an outboard stand today so I can barrel test.
