maintenance question

I bought a 85' stingray last year with a 2.5 4 cyl<br />what oil should I be using and should I drain and fill the lower end every yr was done last yr before I bought it. I'm thinking I should change it, but what oil and where is the drain plug on that and the fill. <br /><br />so yes I am still on a large learning curve on boats. but I do know a lot about cars, but this is my first boat.

I use 30 wt.....<br />Yes, you should change the lube....<br />I use Mercruiser gear lube....<br /> look here<br />Hope this helps.....JK

thanks haut medoc and bondo that worked great.<br />got it out on the lake for the first time this year it has great put new 4 blade prop on it and man was that a differece. thank
