Make more parting it out or selling it whole?

If I resleeve the cam and do all the new seals and it does not fix the weep hole and over heating problem I think I am going to part with the 470.

Would I make more money selling the outdrive/motor/boat/trailer seperate?

Should I just try to sell it whole?

The outdrive works perfectly, with a new impeller.

The motor runs perfectly, besides the over heating problem.

The trailer is galvinized.

The boats hull is solid, and is set up for fishing.


What numbers would I be looking at for the motor/outdrive/trailer/boat?

Just trying to make back what I have invested into it if this does not fix it.

It has no bearing on the overheat condition , that would be impeller in the drive ,clogged riser, heat exchanger ,stuck thermostat,etc.

I got a new T stat waiting to get put in, I checked everything, I flushed everything, I just have to wait for the sleeves to come in then I will be putting it all back together, flushing it out again, changing the oil, and hope for the best.
