Making a 16' Aluminum fish boat TOO LIGHT.

I finally did that last year. Moved the car battery from the small bow seat under the bow deck. To the transom compartment. BIG mistake when any wind is blowing and I have to dock in my shared dock space. The bottom of the bow is out of the water. Wind and any slight rudder angle causes instant bow angle change. Panic reverse thrust very often.
I have to move the battery back to the bow. Also need 1 of the 2...... 6 gallon gas tanks in the bow full.
Aluminum boats can be too light to be fun in a breeze or close docking spaces.
