I have a 1984 17' cc Mako w/ original fuel lines and a nice leak after filling to the top. The main filler hose and vent are accesible and do not leak. the "pick-up" to the fuel seperator has not seen daylight for 18 yrs. and I suspect that is my trouble. The fun part is that it is not visable when I remove the fuel tank access plate, I think it is under my left foot, when driving. I am not pulling the counsole and counsole deck plate to fix the trouble. I picture cutting a hole in this area and placing a new 8" deck access plate after repairs. I do plan on replacing ALL lines, but this one I need to fix now. Any tips?
