I didn't croak and I did see that mess. A tornado did touch down in Shelby (20 miles from my house) hitting a Copperweld plant. It blew walls and windows out. Dang near destroyed a building that was built in the late 1800's. It even took out a concrete dugout at a ball field. Many trees and limbs down as well.

I didn't get any damage at my house, but it sure rocked and rattled. Wife was at school and they made them go down to the basement. My dog and I headed to the basement as well. While in the basement I'm saying a few prayers,,,,actually I think it was a real long one. At least my community was spared with very minimal damage unlike Shelby.

Glad you came out ok SS! I grew up in Northwest Ohio,I remember those spooky greenish clouds of doom.
