Not familiar with Puget Sound Bay, but it obviously isn't deep enough!

Some men kill their family when they get stupid. a sunken boat seems a bit minor.

If he was going to lose it anyway because of his financial mess, maybe he figured that if he couldnt have it NO ONE ELSE would either and screw the bank.I dont agree , but if this is the case I do understand...I would rather throw something in the trash that have to sell it to someone who was robbing me....

He rowed ashore without calling for help.
He went to work right afterward.
The boat was for sale.
He had filed for bankruptcy a few years earlier.

I am sure that raised a few red flags.

And who's boat sinks in a calm bay?

It's not like there was a big storm or anything.

Good God! What a big mistake that was!!!

He should have burned it rather than sink it. Some people are so silly. :D

That is what he gets for not being an iboats member :D He wouldn't have had all those problems if he had gotten his help here :D

that's not how you sink a boat,
here, give me that gas can, and get the dinghy ready.

He would have learned how to properly get rid of a boat, while making it look like an accident.;)

Wow, I thought my temper would flare up like a pack of hemmorids when I would throw a wrench or punch something when things were not going my way, but taking a hammer to the pumps and a drill to the deck....That guy was ticked off bad.
