Saw this sometime last week that a clearly misguided, mentally unbalanced manatee swam to N.J. I like animals but if he saw fit to go all the way up there, the feel good people should have left him alone and let him suffer the conciquences for his actions. Instead they threat him like something special and give him a ride back home on a C-130. We have more than enough of them here.
If you should ever encounter one up north, dont tell anyone about him and enjoy him. Very docile creatures. They do not have teeth and eat sea grass. If you happen to have some lettuce or cabbage around, give him some and you have a friend for the day. Even better if you give him beer, they love it. They seem to enjoy the attention of humans and when they tire of you, will shake you off them and swim away for awhile. They will come back looking for more beer, cheap dates.
Hope the fish/wildlife STASI or KGB dont come to my door at night for letting this info out. regards FRED

Yea that is some crazy poop, using a C-130, geez.
Last week there was an article about three of them in Mobile Bay.
The wildllife rescue people said ho-hum, we have no money to rescue them, they will have to make it on their own.

Doesn't interfering with the stupid ones breed more stupid ones that will require the same actions in the future?

Same for fishing, we are only harvesting the stupid ones that are taking the bait.
Catch and release justs makes the population of fish more stupid.
