Re: manatee

Good luck! I’ve been looking for years! They went out of business in the
Late 80’s early 90’s (probably because they use more fiberglass than most any boat I have ever seen!!!) I have a manatee cud cabin and it is a very well made boat. The only complaint is the lack of storage.
;)

They went out of biz. in the eighties. I also owned one-16' center console. I occasionally see one around.

Re: manatee

They were built in Florida, and these boats can take a hell of a beating. I have a 1979 18’6” cud cabin and from the day it was purchased it has regularly seen 6’ waves and it handles it like nothing. Mine came with an inline 6 merc 115, but now I have a 135 evinrude. This boat has gone through 3 motors in its lifetime, and looks like it will see many more! What year is yours?

Check out John Allmand boats in FL. Boats built like tanks and sleek through the water.
